How to listen to Xtrata Radio

Start listening

Open Xtrata Radio in your browser. No wallet connection, token ownership or app installation is needed to listen.

Press the power button (⏻) or Play (▶), then allow a moment for the first song to load. Keep the page open while you listen. You need an internet connection; loading audio uses data.

If nothing plays, press Play again after the player has loaded. Browsers can require a direct tap before allowing sound.

Choose what you hear

Play / pause pauses or resumes playback. Previous and Next move between songs. The power button turns the player off or on. Adjust the volume using the radio widget’s volume control or your device controls.

FM plays the curated selection, with discovery when the ALL preset is selected. Choose PRESET: MUSIC for the curated selection only.

LIKED plays songs you have saved with the heart button. Like some songs first to build your station. CHAIN explores songs among inscriptions; discovery can take longer than the curated selection.

Save favourites and explore a song

When you save or remove a favourite, the radio synchronizes your browser’s saved list to update public current-like totals. This is separate from passive listening statistics. Existing favourites sync when you next open the updated radio. Counts represent synced browsers, not verified people; clearing browser data or using another device can create a separate identity.

Press the heart (♥) while a song plays to add it to YOUR STATION. Select a saved title to play it, or use its remove button to take it out of your favourites.

Favourites are stored in this browser, not in your wallet. They do not automatically follow you to another device or browser. Clearing site data can remove them, and private browsing or privacy settings can limit saving.

Use View inscription to open the current song’s inscription. Where available, the player also shows artist details, artwork and related inscriptions.

Share the radio or put it on your site

To invite someone to listen, send them https://xtrata.xyz/radio. This opens the station; it does not synchronise them to your current song.

For a website player, open the embed sharing page. Choose Compact radio or Just the music, copy its embed code and paste it into your website’s custom HTML or embed block. Your website must allow iframe embeds.

Listeners press Play themselves. If the player is still loading when they first click, they may need to click again. Compact mode offers volume and next-song controls; the minimal player keeps the play/pause button and track title.

If the embedded player is blocked by your site, try the direct radio link and give your site administrator the technical embedding guide.

If you cannot hear anything

Check the player volume, your device volume and whether the browser tab is muted. Press Play after loading finishes. If one song will not load, try Next or switch to FM with the MUSIC preset.

If playback still stalls, check your internet connection and reload the page. If two copies play at once, pause or close the other radio tab or embedded player.

A phone may pause background audio when it locks or changes apps. Return to the radio page and press Play again. Browser privacy restrictions can also affect embedded playback; try the direct radio page.

What you are listening to

Xtrata Radio plays music from inscriptions, retrieved through Xtrata’s hosted services. Each browser has its own listening session, so listeners can hear different songs at the same time.

Use the radio page or an embedded player to listen. This website player does not provide a continuous MP3 stream URL for external radio apps.

Listening statistics

When enabled, the radio measures unmuted playback to distinguish starts, partial listens, qualified plays and completions. It uses a random browser identifier, not your wallet. Server records are retained for up to 90 days, with cleanup during new sessions. Browser-reported figures do not prove a unique person listened. Embedded browsers may keep separate identities.

Reload other open radio tabs after changing this setting. Your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal also disables counting.

Song statistics

Browse song statistics. Anonymous daily totals are retained so counts survive deletion of detailed listening sessions. These figures measure browser playback, not verified people; separate livestream connections are not included.
